The Hotel Ligure has remained the refuge of Domenico and Giuseppina Calandri, originally from Benevagienna, who opened it in 1939. Today it is as if the thread of memory that links the past to the present had never been broken. A Trattoria with accommodation in a 17th century building in a charming corner of Old Cuneo.

It was in the early 1970s when it was the turn of their son Franco, who with his wife Imelda took over the running of the inn, where in days gone by the stagecoach stopped and the horses were changed. With them, the business was transformed, adapting to the times of the time, into the Ristorante Hotel Ligure, and thanks to their profuse efforts it gained the recognition of a vast, heterogeneous and valid clientele.
